Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014

This year the AT&T and Washingtonian Best of Washington Party will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the National Building Museum.  This is one of the best parties of the year and an one that Chris Laich Music Services looks forward to deejaying every year.  Tickets can be purchased online, so get your tickets today!

Last year, more than 2,000 guests, celebrities, restaurateurs, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society supporters filled the National Building Museum to sample, sip, and socialize. Sparkle Lounge 2014 at the Ronald Reagan Building

Thursday, April 3rd, 2014

Every year our team at Chris Laich Music Services  looks forward to being a part of the Ronald Reagan Building’s annual Sparkle Lounge.  The event is always incredible and is the perfect opportunity to catch up with wedding industry friends and network with event professionals around the DC region.  Despite our crazy winter, the Winter Lodge theme for this year’s event was perfect.

It was wonderful to work with the team of vendors which included Stephen Bobb Photography, Hargrove, Inc., DC Rental, Projection Presentation Technology, Elegance & Simplicity Wedding & Event Designers, Inc., CORT Event Furnishings, and Booth-o-Rama Photobooths!

The Ronald Reagan’s Atrium Ballroom. which is already an amazing space, was impeccably designed this year and of course there was great food, drink and soundtrack!  Here are some of the highlights:

Chris Laich Music DJ Set-up, Whitehall Manor

Thursday, February 27th, 2014

Last week, we shared Kristen and Patrick’s beautiful wedding at theHistoric Whitehall Manor, which is one of our favorite indoor/outdoor settings to plan a wedding.  Whitehall Manor is “rich in history and located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains on a 50 acre estate with spectacular views and a canopy of century old trees all surrounding a 200 year old manor house.”  Our team at Chris Laich Music Services always looks forward to our weddings at Whitehall Manor.

Whitehall Manor is the quintessential destination for weddings in Northern Virginia with the close proximity to DC and located in the Virginia Winery region with a variety of hotels and bed & breakfasts.   It is such an elegant setting for weddings outside and indoors.  In fact, because weather can be unpredictable Whitehall has a versatile indoor backup plan in the event that your wedding can not be outside, and they allow couples to decide the day-of.  We are always prepared to make any last minute changes which is why we always bring our Bose wireless speakers for ample volume and sound anywhere!

Here are some photos from Kristen and Patrick’s wedding, it was a lovely day so we were able to have the ceremony outside and then had their reception inside the ballroom, here are a few pictures we took of our set-up.

Chris Laich Music DJ Set-up, Bluemont Vineyard

Thursday, February 13th, 2014

Living in the Washington, DC area, we are so lucky to have nearby vineyards available for weekend day trips and weddings!  One of our favorite vineyards to host a wedding is Bluemont Vineyard in Northern Virginia. Nestled in the heart of the Northern VA Wine Region, the Bluemont Vineyard farm winery is a stunning location. The event space is perfect for large and small affairs; our team at Chris Laich Music Services always looks forward to our weddings at Bluemont Vineyard.

Bluemont Vineyard’s wedding barn venue is one of the largest vineyard wedding and event venues in the area. “The Stable boasts an amazing view of the Loudoun Valley with a temperature controlled reception space and stone like floor. The classic pole barn style, paper lantern accents and aged barn beams provide a rustic backdrop for each client’s decor. The Bridal Suite is a serene space to prepare for a grand entrance to the lawn for spectactual ceremonies while the lantern lined veranda nicely accommodates cocktails with a view.”  If you are looking for a rustic elegant setting, we highly recommend Bluemont Vineyard!

Like with any beautiful setting, the last thing you want are giant speakers and wires to take away from the atmosphere.  Also, due to the barn size, we always bring our Bose wireless speakers for ample volume and sound throughout the evening’s festivities.  We were there recently for a wedding and took a picture to show we set-up the barn!
