Chris Laich Music DJ Set-up, Sam Riggs

One of the best kept secrets at the University of Maryland, is no longer a secret.  Our team at Chris Laich Music Services loves working at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, which is a great choice for corporate events and weddings.  What started as a space for U of M alum to congregate and entertain, is now a wonderful event space for everyone.

We love the stunning event spaces, gardens and versatile spaces to entertain.  With the multitude of spaces weddings of virtually all sizes can be accommodated.  As well as couples looking to have their ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in one location.  To accommodate for the size of the space and using multiple areas, we always bring our bose wireless speakers for ample sound and coverage throughout the event!

Real Wedding, Alexandra and Carter at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens

Wednesday, September 10th, 2014

Earlier this summer we had the pleasure to work with one of the sweetest couples for their Virginia wedding at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens.  Alexandra and Carter had a wedding filled with joy!  It was wonderful to work with Katie DeLorme Photography, the photos are absolutely stunning from this wedding and we couldn’t wait to share them!  The staff at Meadowlark did an amazing job, and we could just tell that all of Alexandra and Carter’s guests were having the best day ever.

We love how they set-up the ceremony outside at Meadowlark.  They chose the song “Begin Again by” for the Bridesmaids and “A Thousand Years” for Bride Alexandra and her Father.  For their recessional, we played “Forever”

Additional photos of the wedding party and reception details were taken after the ceremony, we love the simple and elegant style of this wedding party!

Alexandra’s parents then gave a welcome and toast before dinner.  After dinner, we heard toasts from the Maid of Honor and Best Man.

To open the dance floor, Alexandra and Carter each danced with their parents and then all were welcomed to dance.  Alexandra and her Father danced to “Can You Feel the Love Tonight by Elton John”.  Carter and his Mother danced to “Songbird by Fleetwood Mac”.

Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, VA is a stunning four diamond resort; it has incredible golf courses, a full service spa, and located near Virginia’s Wine Region.  It is a wonderful location for a wedding in Northern, VA.  Our team at Chris Laich Music Services always looks forward to our weddings at the Lansdowne Resort.

Whether your family and friends are travelling to the area or are local, Landowne Resort is a perfect place to make a weekend event of your wedding.  There are lovely outside settings as well as a stunning ballroom.  Many couples utilize several spaces and we are always equipped with our  inconspicuous wireless Bose speakers to provide optimal sound in every area.

Chris Laich Music DJ Set-up, GW Masonic Memorial

Wednesday, August 27th, 2014

We are spoiled living in Washington, DC and having access to so many gorgeous Monuments and Memorials.  The George Washington Masonic Memorial in Old Town, Alexandria is also a gorgeous setting for a DC wedding.  Family and friends will be impressed by the unique setting, and can take advantage of the observation deck with amazing views of Alexandria and DC.  Our team at Chris Laich Music Services always looks forward to our weddings at the GW Masonic Memorial.

With it’s stunning architecture and location in Old Town, many couples in the area seek out the GW Masonic Memorial to rent for their wedding.  It’s a venue that offers a few different spaces for weddings and social/corporate events.  Because the main ballroom is surrounded by columns, the space is beautiful but sound can be tricky!  The last thing we want is the volume to be too soft or too loud and we definitely don’t want to detract from the space by wires and huge speakers.  We always bring our sleep Bose wireless speakers for ample volume and sound anywhere!

Sparkle Lounge 2014 at the Ronald Reagan Building

Thursday, April 3rd, 2014

Every year our team at Chris Laich Music Services  looks forward to being a part of the Ronald Reagan Building’s annual Sparkle Lounge.  The event is always incredible and is the perfect opportunity to catch up with wedding industry friends and network with event professionals around the DC region.  Despite our crazy winter, the Winter Lodge theme for this year’s event was perfect.

It was wonderful to work with the team of vendors which included Stephen Bobb Photography, Hargrove, Inc., DC Rental, Projection Presentation Technology, Elegance & Simplicity Wedding & Event Designers, Inc., CORT Event Furnishings, and Booth-o-Rama Photobooths!

The Ronald Reagan’s Atrium Ballroom. which is already an amazing space, was impeccably designed this year and of course there was great food, drink and soundtrack!  Here are some of the highlights:
